Dermal Fillers

At Beautybird Medspa, our dermal filler treatments are designed to enhance your natural beauty by restoring volume, smoothing wrinkles, and refining facial contours. Our fillers, often made of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance that supports skin hydration and elasticity—target areas like nasolabial folds, marionette lines, thin lips, and hollowed cheeks. During your treatment, our skilled medical team will carefully inject the filler to add subtle volume and replenish lost tissue, achieving results that look beautifully refreshed yet natural. Results are immediate and can last from several months to over a year, depending on the filler used. A consultation with our experts ensures a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique goals and needs.

Restylane

Restylane is a brand of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers used for non-surgical cosmetic treatments. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that helps to hydrate and add volume to the skin. The Restylane line of products is designed to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and facial folds and add volume to areas of the face such as the lips and cheeks.

Revanesse

The Revanesse line of fillers is a family of hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers used for non-surgical aesthetic treatments. The line includes several different formulations designed to address various aesthetic concerns, such as wrinkles, fine lines, and volume loss. All the Revanesse fillers are formulated with high-quality, non-animal-based hyaluronic acid designed to provide a smooth and natural-looking result.

  • When will I see results?
Results from dermal fillers are visible immediately after the treatment, giving you an instant boost!

    Do dermal fillers hurt?
Most clients find the treatment more comfortable than expected. Many fillers contain a local anesthetic to minimize discomfort, making the procedure more tolerable.

What should I expect after the procedure?
Following treatment, clients may experience mild redness, swelling, or even some bruising. These effects are normal and may develop in the hours or days after your session. To help reduce any swelling or bruising, you can apply ice or arnica to the treated area. Swelling generally subsides within 1-2 days.

How long do dermal fillers last?
Dermal fillers typically last between 6 months and 2 years, depending on the treatment area. Made from hyaluronic acid, fillers naturally break down over time and are safely absorbed by the body. Results will vary from person to person.

Where can dermal fillers be used?
Dermal fillers can enhance or restore facial contours and address static lines. Commonly treated areas include the lips, cheeks, under-eye area (tear troughs), chin, and jawline.

What are dermal fillers made of?
Most dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the body that attracts and holds water, creating a plumping effect under the skin for a youthful, hydrated look.

Cosmetic Injectables

At Beautybird Medspa, we offer neuromodulator treatments to help you achieve a smoother, more refreshed look. Neuromodulators, like Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin® are injectables designed to temporarily relax targeted muscles, softening the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines caused by repetitive facial movements. By gently blocking the release of acetylcholine, neuromodulators reduce muscle activity, diminishing common expression lines like frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines. Results typically last a few months, after which touch-ups can maintain your beautifully natural, rejuvenated appearance.

Botox®

Botox® is an FDA-approved treatment that uses a purified neurotoxin to temporarily relax targeted muscles, smoothing lines for a refreshed, youthful look. Ideal for treating crow’s feet, forehead lines, frown lines, and even signs of aging on the neck, Botox® offers a comprehensive approach to rejuvenation. This quick, safe procedure delivers natural-looking results, and with preventative Botox®, you can minimize future wrinkles, providing a lasting, non-surgical way to maintain a vibrant appearance.

Xeomin®

Aging is a natural part of life, but that doesn’t mean you have to live with wrinkles and frown lines. XEOMIN® is a pure and effective alternative to BOTOX®, using a refined active ingredient to smooth forehead lines, wrinkles, and crow’s feet. Results last up to four months, and quick sessions under an hour make it easy to maintain youthful, radiant skin. With minimal side effects and noticeable benefits, XEOMIN® is a convenient way to enhance your natural beauty. Schedule a consultation with our medical experts to learn more.

Dysport®

Dysport® is a highly effective wrinkle relaxer that smooths fine lines and wrinkles by targeting facial muscles responsible for deep-set frown lines, especially between the brows.

Through precise injections, Dysport® relaxes these muscles, softening the appearance of lines without altering the natural movement of surrounding facial areas. This treatment is ideal for those seeking a refreshed, youthful look that maintains facial expressiveness. By focusing only on specific muscles, Dysport® delivers a natural result, erasing wrinkles and frown lines without a “frozen” effect, making it a popular choice for subtle yet impactful rejuvenation.

  • Which is better for me, Botox or Dysport?
Both Botox and Dysport are effective for softening dynamic lines while preserving a natural look. The choice often comes down to personal preference, as both offer similar results in minimizing expression lines.

How often should I get Botox or Dysport?
Botox generally lasts around 3-4 months, while Dysport typically lasts 2-3 months. Your practitioner can help determine a schedule that best maintains your natural, refreshed look.

When will I start to see results?
With Botox, results often begin to appear within 4-7 days, while Dysport may take effect slightly faster, around 2-5 days. Full results for both are typically visible after two weeks, though individual experiences may vary.

What should I avoid after treatment?
After treatment, avoid makeup, exercise, steam rooms or saunas, and rubbing the treated area for 24 hours. Additionally, it’s best to avoid lying down for the first 4-6 hours post-treatment to ensure optimal results.

When should I start using Botox or Dysport for my lines?
Neurotoxin treatments can be started as early as your 20s, depending on your unique skin needs and goals. Whenever you notice lines that begin to bother you, it’s a good time to consult with your practitioner to see if Botox or Dysport is a fit for you.
